48 Hours In Key West: Part 1, Robbie's Marina

My buddy Capt. Mike Bartlett had the weekend free and since I haven't been back to the Keys since last fall I jumped at the opportunity to fish with him.  I took over 400 photos down there and here are a few of my favorites.
It's 300 miles from Pine Island to Key West.  When the Key's best flats guide has only a few days free, you get there in a hurry.

I always stop at the famous Robbie's Marina in Islamorada to feed the tarpon.

It's only a couple bucks for a bucket of bait.

There are several world record size fish swimming around their dock.

Like this one.

It takes nerve to keep your hand in there.
You can even swim with the tarpon at Robbie's small beach.
